Knight Federal Solutions is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer in Washington, DC to embed security into the DevOps pipeline supporting DoD and Intelligence Community programs — automating security tooling, running assessments and audits, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance documentation. A TS SCI with CI Poly clearance is required.

Job Purpose:
- As a DevSecOps Engineer at Knight Federal Solutions Inc, you will be responsible for integrating security practices within the DevOps process, ensuring that security is a fundamental part of the software development lifecycle. You will leverage your extensive experience and expertise to protect and enhance the security posture of our systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security measures within the DevOps pipeline to safeguard systems and applications.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to automate security processes and integrate security tools.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to proactively enhance security measures.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for DevSecOps.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards, including maintaining TS SCI W/ CI Poly security clearance.
