- Design, implement, and sustain secure DevSecOps pipelines and environments, including GitLab source control, CI/CD, issue tracking, and backlog management.
- Develop, modify, review and troubleshoot automation, infrastructure-as-code, scripts, configuration artifacts, and application code needed to support software delivery, system integration, data exchange, and operational readiness. Support deployments and updates across development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with software, platform, cybersecurity, programmatic, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and useful system integration
- Support live or simulated exercises (e.g., JLVC) by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting, particularly during time-sensitive operational events and exercises. Work may be required outside normal working hours during events to ensure mission requirements are met.
- Produce technical documentation, integration diagrams, and after-action reports as required. Build and maintain GitLab workflow and engineering execution visibility by structuring epics, issues, milestones, board, branching strategies, merge-request standards, and release evidence.
- Provide clear technical status, blockers, risks, and decision recommendations to program leadership and integrated product teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Active DoW Secret clearance or above
- 6+ years of experience in system engineering, software engineering, integration engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps - clear experience in building processes alongside other teams will be considered heavily favorable.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, or similar high throughput publish/subscribe messaging system
- Strong understanding of event-driven system architectures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and data-flow issues in operational environments
- Role will require on-site or after-hours support during scheduled exercises or mission events
