DevOps/SRE engineer keeping a live trading system running: managing Linux services via systemd, handling Postgres operations, and executing a mostly manual deploy process with careful restart windows. Strong pluses are building monitoring/alerting from scratch and eventually introducing CI/CD.
systemd process management, Postgres ops, deploy discipline. Someone who respects "don't restart the India scheduler at 11am IST" as an instinct, not a rule they have to be reminded of. Priority 4 hire - permanent full-time.
What We're Looking For
Must have: Linux systemd service management, basic Postgres administration. Comfortable with a deploy process that is not fully automated yet. Understands why a restart window matters with real trading capital live.Strong plus: Has set up monitoring/alerting from near-zero before. CI/CD experience, to eventually replace the manual deploy dance.
