Your future starts here. You'll join a close-knit agile DevOps team based in Bern Worblaufen, where spending time together on site is part of how we collaborate. The team has developed and operated an inventory system for many years, and you'll help to make it more reliable, scalable and easier to maintain.
You'll work across application development and operations, improving CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring and patch management. You'll also help modernise the platform using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code, while decoupling parts of the existing system to make deployments more flexible. As we explore a move from on-premises infrastructure to AWS, you'll contribute to the technical direction of the platform. Automate CI/CD pipelines, testing, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching and dependency management to improve software delivery and operations. Develop and operate cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code, and evaluate tools and architectural approaches for the evolving platform. Plan and implement the transition from on-premises infrastructure to AWS, building the platform's public cloud capabilities along the way. Decouple and modernise the inventory system's existing functional components to improve scalability, maintainability and deployment flexibility.
