DevOps engineer joining Netcompany's UK Application Support (APS) team, doing a mix of development, DevOps and platform support with an on-call rotation. Day-to-day work centres on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/Helm, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Java services and monitoring to improve delivery speed and reliability.
Responsible for implementing and supporting improvements, enhancing efficiency, enhancing software quality, and accelerating delivery times and having a shared responsibility between development/operations, with a focus on people, processes, and tools that take a unified customer/user focus in a multi-disciplinary team with Development, QA, IT Operations, InfoSec, UCD, etc., all working together to achieve a common goal of applying best practices in DevOps.
You will work in our APS (Application Support) team, where you will learn about the different platforms and products we support in the UK. You will be responsible for a mix of development, DevOps, and support, and will be part of an on-call rotation.
