DevOps Engineer (Middle +/Senior)

You are an autonomous and highly competent DevOps/GitOps Engineer capable of taking ownership of complex production environments.

If you enjoy the automated creation of software products, then your know-how is exactly right with us. You will join a distributed project team that maintains application and infrastructure for Critical Incident Management platform (highloaded, fault-tolerant, 24/7 system). You must be a confident contributor to both solving problems on current project's features and making improvements to the overall DevOps direction. The core you stack will be Azure, Terraform, AKS, Kubernetes but it certainly won't be limited to that.

Responsibilities:

• Expansion, maintenance and operation of the monitoring systems for our cloud infrastructure.
• Operation and monitoring of our cloud products.
• Participation in the strategic development of Internet Security.
• Supporting dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant and reliable applications.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Researching new technologies and ways to improve and optimize our services.

Exact project stack:

• OS: Linux, Windows, Windows Server.
• Languages: Bash, Python, Golang.
• Cloud Provider: Azure (RG, VNet, Disks, Storage Accounts, LB, AKS).
• IaC: Terraform.
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Containerization: Docker, Docker Compose.
• Orchestration: Kubernetes.
• GitOps: ArgoCD.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Log Aggregation: Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Graylog, Vector, Loki.
• Observability: Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana.
• Continuous Inspection: SonarQube.

Requirements:

• Ambition for automation in the area of "Infrastructure as a Service" (IaaS).
• Experience with configuration management and automated deployment (IaC background with Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container virtualization. Knowledge of containers and container orchestration (eg. Docker/Kubernetes/ContainerD).
• Experienced in scripting such as Bash, Python, Powershell, Go, Python, Ruby etc.
• Experience with at least two major CSPs (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Security awareness in the Internet environment
• Ability and willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
• Comfortable communication in English, both verbal and written with team members.

Nice to have:

• Operating Systems on administrator level: Linux, Windows.
• Virtualization (VMware is preferred)
• Configuration Management (eg. Ansible, Puppet and Salt Stack.
• Database administration. Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) NoSQL databases. Knowledge of caching.
• General Networking understanding (switches, routing, firewalls).
• Monitoring/Alerting/Logging Services and correlating patterns.
• Understanding of Auth/Directory services.
• Understanding of storage concepts.
• Experience collaborating with developers and operations in DevOps enabled environments.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver projects on time.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any field.
• Understanding (and experience) of cluster architecture systems.
