$100000 - $145000 **DevOps Engineer** A fast growing entertainment company is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Media Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling difficult problems, shaping architectural decisions, and developing resilient, maintainable solutions at scale. This is a full-time hybrid role with offices located in downtown Chicago. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing and scaling infrastructure across cloud and on-premises platforms. Working closely with engineering and product teams, you'll drive automation initiatives, enhance operational excellence, and help scale a cloud-first, AI-powered DevOps platform. **Required Skills & Experience** + Proven experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with 2-5 years supporting and scaling cloud infrastructure environments + Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines + Strong background in managing AWS cloud infrastructure at scale across multiple environments + On-call availability, including weekends and holidays as needed **Desired Skills & Experience** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field **What You Will Be Doing** **Tech Breakdown** + IaC: Terraform, Ansible + Containerization/clusters: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, ArgoCD + Scripting/programming: Bash, Python, Go + Observability/monitoring: Datadog, PagerDuty + OS: Linux + AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, ALB, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudWatch **Daily Responsibilities** + Partner with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient AWS infrastructure + Build, automate, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible + Enhance system reliability, observability, and cost efficiency through continuous platform and architecture improvements + Advance CI/CD capabilities, including AI-enabled automation, to support fast, reliable, and secure software delivery + Strengthen operational visibility through monitoring, logging, tracing, and proactive incident detection + Contribute to engineering best practices, technical documentation, and architectural design reviews + Drive consistency across teams by standardizing DevOps tools, processes, and platform best practices Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
