A DevOps intern (PEY co-op) at Cerebras Systems designs automation and CI/CD pipelines in Python, shell, Docker, and Kubernetes to build, test, and validate the software stack that runs on the company's Wafer Scale Engine AI supercomputer, across cloud (AWS) and datacenter environments.
Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. This architecture allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds; over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services. This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation. Cerebras works with the leading model labs, global enterprises, and cutting-edge AI-native startups. OpenAI recently announced a multi-year partnership with Cerebras, to deploy 750 megawatts of scale, transforming key workloads with ultra high-speed inference.
You will develop and maintain the infrastructure required to build, test, operate, simulate, and evaluate the Cerebras software stack. As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing efficient, scalable workflows for automating processes in the cloud and in our datacenter. You will work closely with the development and product management teams to monitor the quality and performance of the software that runs on the Wafer Scale Engine (WSE), the world’s largest and fastest AI computer.
