DevOps engineer in Warsaw building and running Citi's XiP large-scale distributed risk-calculation platform: designing CI/CD pipelines around Citi's centralized DevOps setup, maintaining large-scale parallel compute in AWS, building a GCP replica, and handling monitoring, incident response, upgrades, and user support.
Simplify the CI/CD pipeline by designing and implementing a new pipeline around Citi's centralized DevOps pipeline, improving its efficiency, reliability, and security, and integrating automated quality gates and rollback mechanisms
Build, evolve, and maintain the large-scale parallel compute environment in AWS, applying best practices for storage, compute, and security, and optimizing resource usage for distributed risk calculation workloads
Contribute to building a complete replica of the XiP platform in GCP to meet resilience, scalability, and business continuity requirements
Manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with software development and central technology teams to evaluate, select, and integrate technologies and tools aligned with business goals, compliance standards, and operational requirements
Participate in architecture reviews and proof-of-concept initiatives, and provide feedback on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Maintain and monitor the health, performance, and security of the XiP platform
Perform maintenance, upgrades, and patching
Respond to operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis, implement preventive measures, and document operational procedures
Provide training and guidance to team members as needed
Support XiP customers with application and infrastructure issues
Monitor system health, resolve performance bottlenecks and outages, troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis, and communicate with clients and stakeholders

5+ Years of relevant DevOps experience working closely with an Apps Development team
Extensive experience building cloud infrastructure in a public cloud such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Ability to manage and deliver projects while handling competing priorities
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience
