We're looking for outstanding DevOps Engineers to develop, build, and maintain our digital services, steering our strategy and championing data-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain digital services in a DevOps environment.
Implement automation and support continuous integration and deployment practices.
Collaborate within multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver solutions.
Support and improve infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.

Skills and Experience

Experience with Unix/Linux systems administration and automation scripting (Shell, Python).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices in Agile Scrum teams.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Ability to design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary Agile teams.

Additional Information

Location options include Manchester, Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle with flexible working arrangements. Compensation up to £58,347, with a civil service pension, generous leave, and various benefits focused on work-life balance.
