DevOps engineer in Kuala Lumpur supporting AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline automation, monitoring/logging/alerting, and access control in a cross-functional team. Requires 3+ years in a DevOps-related role with cloud (AWS/GCP) exposure; Terraform, CloudFormation, and security knowledge are pluses, and AWS training is provided.
Support the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of AWS cloud infrastructure, with training provided on AWS services and best practices.
Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD automation pipelines to support efficient and reliable application deployments.
Implement and support system monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure infrastructure health and performance..
Support access control management to ensure secure and appropriate access to systems and resources.
Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams in a cross-functional environment, sharing knowledge and learning from experienced team members.
Identify, analyze, and assist in resolving performance and stability issues while learning best practices for resource optimization.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related technical role, with a strong motivation to learn new tools and technologies.
Knowledge or hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and GCP.
Exposure to software architecture concepts and system design principles is an added advantage.
Knowledge of infrastructure and software security best practices, including secure configurations, access control, and vulnerability management, is a plus point.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and/or Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work effectively in an agile, cross-functional team while actively developing new technical skills.
