À propos de l'opportunité Basé(e) à Montréal, vous rejoindrez une équipe Agile DevOps en tant que membre contributeur à part entière dès le premier jour. Il s'agit d'un rôle pratique : vous écrirez et livrerez du vrai code, prendrez en charge de vrais problèmes et collaborerez avec une équipe utilisant une pile technologique moderne incluant Java, TypeScript, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Docker et des frameworks d'automatisation de tests. Ce poste de stage est ouvert aux diplômés récents et aux personnes en début de carrière qui souhaitent apprendre et évoluer dans un environnement collaboratif et dynamique.

Ce que vous ferez

• Concevoir, développer, tester et maintenir des applications Java utilisées quotidiennement par les équipes.
• Écrire, déboguer et itérer sur le code avec des coéquipiers interfonctionnels pour livrer des logiciels évolutifs et efficaces.
• Créer des outils améliorant l'expérience des développeurs : utilitaires web, outils d'analyse de journaux, débogueurs et plateformes de gestion de logiciels.
• Explorer les avancées en technologies cloud, ingénierie des données et pratiques de développement modernes.
• Traduire des conceptions architecturales en code fonctionnel, en collaboration avec des ingénieurs seniors et des responsables techniques.
• Rechercher et évaluer les technologies émergentes susceptibles de façonner la prochaine génération de produits.
• Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de produits et les architectes pour définir et livrer de nouvelles fonctionnalités de bout en bout.
• Contribuer activement dans un environnement Agile — vos idées et perspectives sont valorisées.

Ce que vous apportez

• Un baccalauréat (ou plus) en informatique, génie logiciel ou domaine connexe ; les diplômés récents sont les bienvenus.
• Une moyenne cumulative de 3,5 ou plus.
• Expérience en développement Java.
• Expérience avec Linux et les scripts shell.
• Expérience avec SQL et une exposition au développement front-end (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Maîtrise de Git ; connaissance fonctionnelle de Python.
• Familiarité avec la surveillance et le dépannage d'applications.
• Solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale en anglais.
• Un esprit collaboratif et la capacité de travailler de manière autonome au besoin.
• Curiosité sincère pour les besoins des clients et des parties prenantes.

About the Opportunity Based in Montreal, you will join an Agile DevOps team as a full contributing member from day one. This is a hands‑on internship role — you will write and ship real code, take ownership of real problems, and collaborate with a team using a modern technology stack including Java, TypeScript, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and test automation frameworks. This opportunity is open to recent graduates and those early in their careers who are eager to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java‑based applications used by teams every day.
• Write, debug, and iterate on code alongside cross‑functional teammates to deliver scalable and efficient software.
• Build tools that improve the developer experience — such as web‑based utilities, log analysis tools, debuggers, and software management platforms.
• Explore advancements in cloud technologies, data engineering, and modern development practices.
• Translate architectural designs into working code in close collaboration with senior engineers and technical leads.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies that could shape the next generation of products.
• Partner with product managers and architects to define and deliver new features end‑to‑end.
• Contribute actively in an Agile environment — your ideas and perspectives are valued.

What You Will Bring

• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; recent graduates are welcome.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Experience with Java development.
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with SQL and some exposure to front‑end development (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Proficiency with Git; working knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with application monitoring and troubleshooting concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Genuine curiosity about the needs of customers and stakeholders, and a desire to solve meaningful problems.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan:Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro‑ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 3 medical and dental plan options that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Core level coverage is paid for fully by Ericsson.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long‑term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee’s contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two‑times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short‑term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time
Your work‑life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, plus at least 3 personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro‑rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
