When you see the world’s most inspiring homes and hotels, you invariably find Waterworks in the mix. For over 40 years, our designs have elevated the bath and kitchen experience, with exquisite fittings, fixtures, hardware and more. We strive to be participants in exceptional design moments not just through our products, but through how our company name shows up in the world at large.
What We Provide
What gives us an edge over our competitors is our people. We work in a highly collaborative, creative environment that values each team member’s contributions to our mission. We empower our associates with extensive training, career growth opportunities, competitive salaries, bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, and 401k retirement savings plan. We offer a generous PTO program (vacation, personal and sick time) with additional perks like some summer half days and a volunteer day. The company observes at least 8 federal holidays throughout the calendar year plus a floating holiday that associates can use at their discretion.
The Role
As a Design Consultant, you’ll take ownership of your book of business, ensuring profitability and growth. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients (architects, designers, and contractors) recommending tailored solutions with exceptional professionalism, service, and integrity. You will build strong, collaborative relationships that not only generate sales but also foster brand loyalty and future business. Based in our Greenwich showroom, you’ll work with architects, interior designers, contractors, and discerning homeowners on exceptional residential projects throughout Greenwich and the surrounding market.
As a brand ambassador, you’ll embody our values, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and fearless sales execution. With a passion for the Waterworks brand, you’ll confidently execute strategies that place our clients at the center of every interaction.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about achieving sales goals and motivated by the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, with an appreciation for luxury design, craftsmanship, and highly personalized client service.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday (with rotating Saturdays) at the Greenwich showroom, with time spent both in the showroom and developing relationships throughout the local market.

- Meet with clients in their offices, virtually or in-showroom to confidently pitch Waterworks products to secure orders.
- Manage all phases of client projects including initial meetings, product specification and selection, providing quote and pricing, following up to close sale and take payment.
- Provide monthly/weekly updates to your manager: pipeline and project status, marketing activities using CRM.
- Provide a superior client experience to enhance long-term relationships, brand loyalty, and increase market share
- Actively participate in industry and showroom events; i.e. networking events, CEU presentations, lunch and learns, etc.
- Other projects and activities as needed to drive sales and/or grow market share.
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside/inside sales and/or business development experience in the high-end, luxury brand environment; experience in design, interiors, luxury home, architecture & design, kitchen & bath, furnishings, lighting, tile, stone, or another high-touch client environment is highly valued.
