Design Manager

Job Title: Design Manager (Preconstruction / EPC)
Location: Remote, travel for meetings and client needs (up to 75%)
Company: The Boldt Company – National Power & Industrial
Anticipated Salary Range: $108,000 - $161,000

At Boldt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.

As a Design Manager, you will play a critical leadership role at the front end of our most complex projects, helping shape how work is planned, developed, and delivered. This role is responsible for leading the design and preconstruction process, bringing together owners, engineers, trade partners, and internal teams to develop solutions that are aligned, constructible, and built for success.

You won’t just coordinate design—you will own the integration of scope, schedule, cost, and risk, ensuring decisions are made at the right time and teams are working together toward a common goal. This is a highly visible role across our power, renewables, and industrial markets, where your ability to think ahead, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes will directly impact project performance.

If you’re someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building something from the ground up, and brings both leadership and hands-on execution to your work, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing within a team committed to doing things the right way—together.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,000 - $161,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
