Design Engineer creates 3D models and production-ready mechanical designs for hardware products, selecting manufacturing processes and iterating through prototyping and testing.
Translate client briefs, sketches, and samples into production-ready 3D models.
Select suita prble manufacturingocesses based on cost, volume, tolerance, finish, and lead time.
Apply DFM principles across additive manufacturing, CNC, moulding, sheet metal, and injection moulding.
Design functional assemblies, enclosures, brackets, jigs, fixtures, housings, and mechanisms. Even integration of hardware such as PCBs, batteries, sensors, cameras, LiDAR, cable routing, sealing, and ventilation.
Perform reverse engineering from physical samples, scan data, and 2D drawings.
Produce technical drawings, GD&T callouts, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
Prepare files for 3D printing and machining.
Print, test, troubleshoot, and iterate designs through to the final physical product.
Prepare client-facing design decks and maintain revision logs.
