Social Media Support
Support the content calendar, including key Jewish calendar moments, campaigns and events.
Schedule and post approved content across our channels.
Monitor comments and messages, and pass anything sensitive or urgent to the Head of Marketing and Community Engagement straight away.
Track basic performance and share what is working.
Community Engagement
Support the planning and delivery of community events, including promotion, registrations, set-up and follow-up.
Be a friendly, reliable contact for community partners such as schools, shules, youth groups and communal organisations, with guidance from the Head of Marketing and Community Engagement.
Keep community contact lists and event records accurate and up to date.
Help gather community feedback and share it with the team.
Represent Jewish Care at community events and forums when asked, with support.
Help residents, clients and the wider community feel connected, and help more people learn about our services.
Campaigns & Collaboration
Support campaigns, including fundraising appeals, from concept through to reporting.
Work with service and program teams to find stories worth telling, following our consent process.
Work with external photographers, videographers and printers when directed.
Share ideas in team meetings and campaign planning sessions.
Essential:
·Working skills in Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign, gained through study or personal projects.
·A good eye for layout, typography and colour.
·Clear, friendly writing with strong spelling and attention to detail.
·Confidence taking photos and short video on a phone or camera.
·Comfortable talking with people of all ages and backgrounds, including older adults and families.
·Organised, and able to manage your own time across a three day week.
·Willingness to ask questions, take feedback and learn.
Desirable:
·Basic video editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
·Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social scheduling tools.
