They have a lively home that includes one dog and one cat, they value balance, connection, and enjoying life both inside and outside of work.
Both Todd and Lauren reached pivotal turning points in their careers that led them to pursue something more meaningful and personal. Lauren made the decision to leave her previous industry, while Todd stepped away from his family’s farm—both ready for a new chapter. Drawn back to the Columbus area, they decided to turn a long-standing dream into reality: owning and building a business together.
With guidance from a trusted Franchise Consultant—recommended by Lauren’s brother, who is also a franchise owner—they found Floor Coverings International to be the perfect fit. The model offered them the structure and support they were looking for, while still allowing the flexibility and control to run their business in a way that reflects their values.
Todd and Lauren pride themselves on being easygoing, approachable leaders who are focused on building a close-knit, supportive team. They are passionate about creating an environment where their team members can thrive—both professionally and personally. While they don’t believe in micromanaging, they are committed to providing as much support, guidance, and encouragement as possible to help their team succeed.
Outside of work, Todd and Lauren enjoy spending time on the golf course, cheering on Ohio State football, attending concerts, camping, and hosting cookouts with friends and family. Their love for connection and shared experiences carries into their business, where they aim to create not just a company, but a team that feels like family.
