Deputy General Manager

Boltcargo Global Logistics FZCO is seeking an experienced, commercially driven General Manager – UAE & GCC to lead and grow the Company's business in Dubai and the wider GCC market.

The General Manager will have overall responsibility for Revenue growth, Gross Profit, P&L, customer acquisition, key account development, operations, collections and team performance.

The role is intended for a hands-on logistics leader who can build a strong team and customer base and establish Boltcargo as a recognised freight-forwarding and logistics provider in the UAE and GCC.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

To build Boltcargo Global Logistics FZCO into a high-growth and profitable logistics business in the UAE and GCC, delivering sustainable revenue and Gross Profit growth, acquiring strategic customers, developing strong trade lanes and partnerships, maintaining operational excellence and generating healthy cash returns for the Group.

Requirements

• Own the UAE/GCC business plan and P&L.
  

• Deliver agreed revenue, Gross Profit and EBITDA targets.
  

• Develop and execute the Company's UAE/GCC growth strategy.
  

• Identify new markets, customers, sectors and trade lanes.
  

• Drive profitable growth rather than turnover without adequate margins.
  

• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  

• Monitor revenue, Gross Profit, EBITDA, working capital and cash flow.
  

• Identify and eliminate margin leakage.
  

• Represent company in National and International Conferences/ Meetings
  

• Align with larger objective of the group
  

• Lead negotiators and contracts with Customers, Vendors, Banks
  

• Ensure highest level of compliance with local statutory guidelines
  

• Develop competitive relationships with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, NVOCCs and other logistics suppliers
  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or international supply chain.
  

• At least 5 years in a senior management / General Manager / Business Head role.
  

• Strong UAE freight-forwarding experience.
  

• Demonstrated P&L and commercial responsibility.
  

• Proven track record of acquiring and developing customers.
  

• Strong understanding of ocean and air freight.
  

• Experience in project cargo / specialised logistics is an advantage.
  

• Established network among UAE/GCC shippers, shipping lines, airlines, transporters and logistics partners.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  

• MBA / postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
