Responsibilities:
- Designs and builds data visualizations, dashboards, and full-stack analytical applications in Palantir Foundry that put migrated U.S. Army enterprise data in the hands of decision-makers and operators
- Develops application logic, functions, and user interfaces using TypeScript
- Builds and maintains the data pipelines, transforms, and ontology objects and links that back visualizations and applications
- Manages code through Git-based workflows, including branching, merging, and code review
- Partners with engineers, program managers, and domain specialists to define solution requirements, iterate on solutions, and ship code
- Iterates quickly from use case to prototype to scaled deployment, incorporating user feedback to improve usability and impact
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of software development experience, including full-stack application or data visualization development
- Advanced Palantir Foundry experience building data pipelines, managing datasets, working with ontologies, and deploying applications
- TypeScript development experience (intermediate or higher)
- Working proficiency with Git version control
- Data visualization experience designing clear, decision-focused dashboards and visual analytics
- Demonstrated ability to build production-grade code that leverages both structured and unstructured datasets
- Willingness to travel as needed for client implementation work
- Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
- Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
- An active Secret security clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Palantir Foundry certification (Application Developer track preferred)
- Experience with Foundry application and analytics tools such as Workshop, Slate, Quiver, or Contour, and with Foundry Functions or the Ontology SDK (OSDK)
- Experience with Python and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React)
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification
