Job Overview
A reputed organization is looking for an experienced Data Security Engineer to join its team in Dubai, UAE. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in data security, database activity monitoring, encryption and enterprise security technologies.
The successful candidate will work extensively with IBM Guardium, including DAM, FAM and S-TAP, along with Thales CipherTrust Manager and enterprise data protection technologies. Strong knowledge of encryption, database security, data loss prevention and identity and access management will be important for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support IBM Guardium data security solutions.
- Work with IBM Guardium DAM, FAM and S-TAP technologies.
- Monitor and protect sensitive enterprise data.
- Support database activity monitoring and data security controls.
- Manage and support Thales CipherTrust Manager.
- Implement and maintain data encryption solutions.
- Work with TDE, CTE, HSM and KMIP technologies.
- Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Work with SIEM and IAM security environments.
- Monitor security events and support investigation of data security incidents.
- Support data security compliance and control requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and security procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application and security teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in data security or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Guardium is mandatory.
- Experience with IBM Guardium DAM, FAM and S-TAP.
- Experience with Thales CipherTrust Manager.
- Strong knowledge of data encryption.
- Experience with TDE, CTE, HSM and KMIP.
- Knowledge of DLP, SIEM and IAM.
- Understanding of ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS.
- Knowledge of GDPR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
