BizOps data scientist at DoorDash focusing on the ANZ merchant business — sizing opportunities, running experiments, and building dashboards to guide Strategy & Operations and executive decisions. Core stack is SQL, Python/R, ETL, regression and A/B testing; hybrid role (3 days in-office in Melbourne, 2 remote).
At DoorDash, the Data Science and Analytics team uncovers insights and translates them into actionable recommendations that drive decisions across the organisation. Analytics is integral to all areas of DoorDash, and this role sits within the global BizOps Analytics team with a specific focus on the Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) markets.
You will be a key BizOps partner, working closely with the Strategy & Operations team and the ANZ Executive Leadership Team to turn data into actionable insights—with a specific focus on all things Merchant.
In this role, you will work to identify and prioritise the local opportunities that matter most for Merchants to grow, operate, and monetize their business with DoorDash. This will cover areas such as merchant availability, menu quality, ads, promos, operational excellence, and more — improving outcomes for both Merchants and DoorDash.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
At DoorDash, our mission to empower local economies shapes how our team members move quickly, learn, and reiterate in order to make impactful decisions that display empathy for our range of users—from Dashers to merchant partners to consumers. We are a technology and logistics company that started by enabling door-to-door delivery, and we are looking for team members who can help us go from a company that is known as the place you order food to a company that people turn to for any and all goods.
DoorDash is growing rapidly and changing constantly, which gives our team members the opportunity to share their unique perspectives, solve new challenges, and own their careers. We're committed to supporting employees’ happiness, healthiness, and overall well-being by providing comprehensive benefits and perks.
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
