Data Scientist: AI-Driven Analytics for Real Decisions

Nexum AI in Italy seeks a Data Scientist who can translate ambiguous questions into measurable hypotheses, analyses and models that drive real decisions. You will work with technical and business teams from problem framing through evaluation and production handover.

You will design reproducible experiments, develop features and models, and explain results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while ensuring data quality and governance.

Turn business questions into hypotheses, targets, metrics. Work with teams from problem framing through production handover. Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize models. Monitor deployed solutions to ensure alignment with the original problem. Communicate uncertainty and limitations clearly. Experience turning ambiguous questions into measurable hypotheses. Ability to explore, clean and query data and document data-quality limitations. Develop features and machine-learning models. Design reproducible experiments and evaluate models with sound metrics. Explain model behavior to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
