The Department
The Data Loading Department oversees the end-to-end loading and maintenance of static and margin contracts, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established processes. Manage contract amendments and updates for all existing agreements, ensuring timely implementation and validation of changes. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, support operational efficiency, and ensure contract data is accurately reflected and maintained across all applicable systems and databases.
The Role
The Data Loading Manager leads team capacity and performance, ensures the accuracy and quality of loaded data, resolves operational issues, and maintains adherence to established processes.
The role serves as a key point of coordination between Destination Managers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication, alignment on priorities, and successful delivery of data requirements.
Additionally, the Data Loading Manager monitors team performance and business KPIs, ensuring resources, priorities, and service levels remain aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate with respective Team Leaders and make sure that the necessary resources are in place to cover the business needs
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are followed by the team and all other departments involved and that related documentation is regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve escalated issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up on any errors and coordinate with Data Team Leaders to fix them and take necessary actions to avoid same issues happening again
- Collaborate with all internal departments to make sure that cross departmental processes are aligned and designated tasks are properly handled
- Work closer with Data Availability leadership to assess shared processes, identify opportunities for alignment, and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency, communication, and service delivery across both teams.
- Coordinate with Helpdesk on system enhancement initiatives, ensuring Team Leaders and Trainers receive clear guidance on all updates and their operational impact.
- Collaborate with Sourcing team to determine the most effective approach for loading complex contracts into the system
- Produce, analyze, and distribute key business reports, providing insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.

Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role
- Tourism/travel industry background, preferably within hotel loading, inventory management, availability, or distribution operations
- Interpersonal skills: Strong leadership presence with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, manage performance, and have difficult conversations when required, while remaining a collaborative team player.
- Communication and motivation: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership, through meetings, presentations, one-to-ones, email, and phone.
- Organisation and delegation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, delegate effectively, oversee team performance, conduct appraisals, and support policy and process implementation.
- Strategic thinking and continuous improvement: Ability to challenge the status quo, identify opportunities for improvement, implement change, and align team priorities with company objectives.
- Problem-solving and decision-making: Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions while remaining calm under pressure.
- Leadership and people management: Experience managing teams, developing talent, driving accountability, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and identify trends.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
