A hands-on Data Engineering Manager who coordinates a team of data engineers across European markets while contributing directly to data pipelines built on the Snowflake, Matillion and Snowpipe stack. Core work involves delivery coordination, code reviews, best practices and mentoring, using SQL, Python and ELT tools like dbt and Airflow.

The Data & Insight team at Brother International Europe supports European operations across three pillars: Data Engineering, Insights and Data Governance.
As our team grows, we are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to strengthen coordination, delivery quality and the development of robust, scalable data pipelines. The role combines day-to-day management, team development and hands-on technical contributions to key initiatives.
This role goes beyond senior architecture expertise: we are looking for someone who can organise the team’s work, improve Data Engineering practices and ensure more reliable delivery.

Qualifications :
We are looking for someone with solid experience (at least five years) in Data Engineering, Data Platforms or data pipeline development, alongside initial experience in people management, technical coordination or mentoring junior colleagues.
You should be able to contribute technically to key initiatives, organise the team’s work and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Europe.
