Contract role (x3, 6 months, £460/day inside IR35) for Data Engineers on a secure public-sector data migration programme in Telford, UK (hybrid, 2 days onsite): moving from SAS 9.4/Viya 3.5 to SAS Viya 4 on AWS — building ETL pipelines, data validation, and CI/CD with Python, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Git. We are currently recruiting for three Data Engineers to join a major data transformation and migration programme within a secure public-sector environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Data Engineers to work on a large-scale migration from SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.5 to SAS Viya 4 on AWS, helping to design, build and optimise the data pipelines and integration processes required to support the transition.
You will be responsible for developing robust, scalable data pipelines and supporting the migration and transformation of data between legacy and modern SAS environments.
You will work closely with SAS Developers, Architects, Business Analysts and Test teams to ensure data integrity, performance, security and quality throughout the migration.
