We are looking for a motivated and skilled person to developdata platform and analytics.In our small team, the areas of responsibility are extensive and the work is diverse: you get to influence operating methods, try new things and leave your mark on the everyday life of Finland's largest used car store.
In everyday life, this means that each figure must be justified: what it means, where it is calculated from and who is responsible for it. We use modern tools and artificial intelligence in our work. Our office is located in Oulu, but you can also work flexibly remotely. We use flexible working hours.
What do you get to do?
- You will model business logic and build solutions with modern data tools.
- You will produce visible analytics and data models for business decision-making.
- You define the numbers together with the business: you don't just fulfill orders, but you are involved in deciding what the number means.
- You will develop and maintain data streams and the platform as code.
- You use AI as a tool on a daily basis and critically evaluate what it produces.
What do we expect from you?
- Strong SQL: you don't just write queries, you figure out why two reports show different numbers and get it solved.
- Python expertise to expand and maintain data flows.
- Understanding software development practices: version control, testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with a cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
The following are considered an advantage:
- Experience with the key technologies of our Data Platform: GCP, dbt, Airflow and Terraform.
- Evidence of the use of artificial intelligence in your own work.
- The ability to complete the analysis for the user — as a report, not just a table in a data warehouse.
