• Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Ensure data reliability, observability, and quality across the data platform by implementing monitoring, alerting, and validation mechanisms.
• Contribute to platform-level engineering practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics) or a related discipline; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, working on production-grade data pipelines and data systems.

• Ability to design performance and scalable tables and queries based on business and reporting needs.
• Experience with event streaming or messaging systems such as Apache Kafka (experience with RabbitMQ is a plus).
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable APIs (preferably using FastAPI) to serve data products, analytics, and machine learning outputs to internal and external consumers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and modern development and deployment workflows.
• Practical experience working with Redis and/or Elasticsearch in data pipeline, caching, or search scenarios.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, cronicle, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/logging practices in production environments.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including clean code practices, code reviews, refactoring, and writing maintainable systems.
• Experience with testing practices (unit and integration tests) and building reliable, production-grade systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments, with the ability to diagnose and resolve data and system issues.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code, and to work effectively with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with analytics, data science, and product teams.
• Familiarity with Git and experience working in agile environments.
