Hands-on Data Engineer building new data capabilities for a major digital transformation programme, working with Databricks, SQL, and Python, with growing AI/LLM integration.
I’m looking for a Data Engineer to join a major digital transformation programme, working on modern data solutions with AI and LLM technology becoming an increasingly important part of the environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building new data capabilities rather than BAU/support.
Key requirements:
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Strong SQL and Python
- dbt experience is beneficial but not essential
- Retail, e-commerce or consumer digital experience would be highly desirable
- Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions
- An interest in AI/LLMs and how they can be applied within modern data engineering
A great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a modern data environment and get closer to the growing use of AI within data engineering and digital transformation.
