Data Engineer - Databricks

Do you ever feel that you want to do more than just deliver technically?
To use your Databricks experience in a way that actually influences how things are built?

This might be that opportunity.

At Twoday, you step into a phase where much is still taking shape. As a Databricks Gold Partner, we have a strong foundation in the Nordics – and are now building something meaningful locally in Sweden.

You’ll be part of that from the beginning, playing a key role in shaping how we work with Databricks in Sweden, from technical direction to how we collaborate with clients and across the Nordics.

In the words of Gökhan, our Global Technology Director in Data & AI:

“Joining us now means stepping into a moment where we’re building something new. You’ll help shape our Databricks capabilities in Sweden from day one, collaborate across borders, and be part of how we evolve as one unified, AI-driven company.”

This is a role where depth and direction go hand in hand.

You’ll work close to the technology, building modern data platforms and discovering our next phases in areas such as Agent Bricks, AI/BI dashboards, Databricks One, Lakebase and a lot more. At the same time, you’ll contribute to decisions that shape how we move forward - in dialogue with clients and in close collaboration with colleagues.

You won’t be expected to have all the answers.
But your perspective will matter.

You’ll be part of a team that shares knowledge, supports each other, and builds for the long term. And while you won’t be doing this alone, you will take an active role in guiding others, driving initiatives, and helping us build a strong Databricks community over time.

Jesper, Databricks Tech Lead in Gothenburg, shares how we work:

We believe you’re confident in your role as a senior Data Engineer and bring several years of hands-on experience with Databricks. You enjoy working at the intersection of technology, business, and people. Perhaps even more importantly, you’re comfortable taking the lead, whether that’s in technical decisions, client dialogue, or driving initiatives forward.

To thrive in this role you value collaboration, enjoy sharing knowledge, and want to be part of building something that lasts.

This role is based in either Gothenburg or Stockholm. We work in a hybrid setup, but value time together and typically meet in the office a few days each week. The role also offers opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues across the Nordics.

Diversity & Inclusion

Do you feel that you do not meet every requirement? Studies show that women and other underrepresented groups are less likely to apply if they do not match every criterion. At Twoday, we are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage you to apply if this role appeals to you, even if your experience does not fully match the job description.
