CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia’s electricity grid.
As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 500 company ranked #192 on the NYSX, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.
Established in 1996, we’ve connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 800 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, we partner with Australia’s major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.
Join us in shaping the future of energy.
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to help build and mature this capability using a Group-managed Databricks platform. This is a greenfield opportunity with genuine scope to influence how CPP connects, governs and uses data across the business.
You will take ownership of CPP’s data engineering delivery, developing reliable pipelines, curated datasets and data-quality controls. Working across systems including IFS Cloud, InEight, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM, you will transform source data into governed, reusable data products for Power BI and other analytics uses.
The role combines hands‑on engineering with business engagement. You will work closely with CPP’s Data & Analytics team, business stakeholders, Group IT and platform specialists to validate requirements, resolve data‑quality challenges and deliver practical, maintainable solutions.
This is an opportunity to shape a long‑term data capability, gain exposure to business‑critical reporting priorities and make a visible contribution during a broader period of transformation.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess
If you enjoy solving complex data problems, working closely with stakeholders and building reliable solutions that create lasting business value, we would like to hear from you.
At CPP, we value our people above all else. We’re dedicated to investing in and developing your talent to help you reach your full potential. By joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on industry‑leading projects and access the latest technologies. We foster a culture of innovation and welcome fresh ideas – if you're ready to challenge the status quo, we want you to be part of our team.
CPP is an equal opportunity employer that fosters a culture of achievement, personal development and offers a diverse, safe and supportive work environment.
