The Role

This is an opportunity to join a skilled engineering team building and maintaining robust data pipelines for a diverse client base. You will work directly with clients on data architecture and design decisions, so this is a role for someone who communicates as confidently as they build. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for a range of client environments
• Liaise directly with clients on data architecture, design and technical decisions
• Deliver high quality, best-practice data engineering solutions to specification
• Work across a range of data platforms, tools and frameworks as the project demands
• Recommend and implement new ideas, tooling and innovations
• Share knowledge and contribute to team learning
• Collaborate as part of dynamic, cross-functional delivery teams
• Produce clean, efficient, well-tested and well-documented code throughout

What You'll Need

Essential:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow or dbt
• Comfortable manipulating and modelling complex datasets
• Based within commuting distance of Belfast city centre (3 days on-site required)

Desirable:

• Experience working in a client-facing or consultancy environment
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
