In this contract role, you will support a data transformation programme moving from a legacy data warehouse to a Microsoft Fabric environment. You’ll focus on the final migration steps, validate outputs, and fix data diffs to ready the Fabric setup for production. After go-live, you’ll help with post‑go‑live support and ongoing data pipelines to meet reporting needs. Responsibilities
Participate in the final stages of migration from legacy data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric
Test outputs and identify/debug data differences
Apply remedial changes to ensure production readiness
Support post go-live activities and ongoing development of data pipelines
Build and maintain data pipelines to support data and reporting requirements across the business
Key requirements
Microsoft Fabric experience on a real-world commercial project
Strong Microsoft Synapse development experience
Excellent PySpark and SQL skills
Experience building and developing data pipelines
Strong data testing, validation and debugging skills
Experience working on data warehouse migrations or modernisation projects
