Security, Backup & Data Protection
- Enforce database security best practices (access controls, encryption at rest and in transit, credential management).
- Manage and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.

⚙️ Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Incremental)
- Maintain and improve database provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Maintain accurate database documentation, schemas, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
- Ensure operational standards and best practices are documented and followed.
- Perform housekeeping activities to keep environments clean and supportable.
🤝 Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with application developers to support schema changes, query optimization, and release readiness.
- Partner with DevOps and Platform teams on availability, automation, and monitoring improvements.
- Provide database expertise during incidents and post‑incident reviews.
