The Opportunity:
As organizations increasingly rely on cloud computing and advanced analytics, the ability to design well-structured, scalable, and well-governed data systems is more important than ever. We are looking for a Junior Data Architect to help shape and support the data foundation that powers analytics, reporting, and operational insights across our organization.
As a Junior Data Architect, you’ll work alongside engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design and maintain data structures that make complex data accessible, reliable, and meaningful. Working within AWS-based environments, you’ll help model data, support pipeline development, and contribute to building scalable data architectures that support both operational and analytical workloads.
Here, you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and agile environment. You’ll help translate business requirements into well-structured data models and architecture patterns while collaborating closely with data engineers and platform teams to ensure systems are scalable, performant, and reliable. You’ll also help support data governance practices, including improving data quality, documentation, and standards that promote responsible and consistent use of organizational data.
As a Junior Data Architect on our team, you will:
Design and maintain logical and physical data models that support analytics and reporting use cases.
Write and optimize SQL queries to transform and structure data for downstream systems and reporting.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support the design and implementation of data pipelines and data integration workflows within AWS environments.

Help design and maintain data schemas, metadata standards, and documentation to improve data discoverability and usability.
Support development and optimization of ETL and ELT workflows that transform raw data into curated analytical datasets.
Assist in maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of data storage and processing systems.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders including product, analytics, and engineering teams to understand and address data needs.
Support data governance initiatives, including improving data quality, lineage visibility, and consistency across datasets.
Help enforce data standards and best practices to ensure data integrity, appropriate access, and responsible data usage across the organization.
Experience working with data systems, data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture
Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
