Data Analytics Engineer

About the role and the Xomnia Culture

At Xomnia, Analytics Engineers are the bridge between raw data and decision-making. You build scalable data models and pipelines that empower business users, analysts, and data scientists to do their best work. With strong roots in engineering and a keen eye for business logic, you ensure that the right data reaches the right people - in the right format.

From transforming spreadsheets into governed pipelines to enabling self-service platforms with tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Power BI, you’ll play a key role in creating data platforms that are both robust and insightful.

Our culture is built on a foundation of open sharing, embracing agility, and the confidence to challenge assumptions. If you thrive on collaboratively turning complexity into clarity and proactively seeking better ways, this role is for you.

• Develop and manage self-service analytics platforms with tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to align on infrastructure and governance.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling visual dashboards.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, standards, and team learning.

• Strong understanding of data modelling, designing and maintaining scalable, reusable, and reliable data models.
• Experience with DevOps tools and deployment pipelines is a plus, as well as self service analytics enablement or Agentic Analytics.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and managing expectations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (required for this role).
