A data analytics engineer who designs and maintains the school's data infrastructure: building ETL pipelines (ideally Apache NiFi), a data catalogue (e.g., dbt), and Power BI dashboards, with a strong focus on integrating Salesforce CRM data to support marketing, sales, and student-success reporting across teams.
Red & Yellow Creative School of Business is South Africa’s leading authority in marketing, communication and design education. We have the mission to unlock creative thinking, to build brilliant careers and organizations using Commercial Logic and Creative Magic. Our mandate, as educators, is to prepare students for career success in the future, not the past. This single-minded purpose is why we exist, and what continues to drive and inspire us 30+ years later.
We are looking for talented people who are fun, dynamic and passionate about all things education and that enjoy working with people – students, lecturers and staff to join various teams across our fast-growing company.
We are looking for a data-driven professional who can design and optimise our data infrastructure, deliver actionable insights and leverage CRM data to drive smarter decision-making. The Data Analytics Engineer (CRM Integration) will manage and structure the institution’s data assets, build and maintain pipelines, and make data more accessible across the organisation. A key focus will be integrating Salesforce CRM data into our analytics environment to improve operational reporting, marketing effectiveness, and student success tracking. There will be a strong requirement to
collaborate across teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
