WHAT'S THE JOB LIKE?

Day-to-day work & projects cooking

As a Data Analyst in Core Insights, you help the product teams in Core Marketplace Platforms build the right features faster and learn from them reliably.

You work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and fellow Analysts to:

• Design and interpret measurements of product development efforts that connect product changes to commercial outcomes
• Support a culture where we ask the right questions, rather than delivering numbers on demand
• Define success metrics and guardrails for product initiatives, including AI-driven features where measurement discipline is crucial.
• Create clear dashboards and reports that inform both day-to-day decisions and strategic direction.

Our team consists of 6 members plus our team lead, and has a broad range of expertise across business analytics, data management, augmented analytics, and strategy. We combine deep product work with cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and increasingly, AI-augmented tooling.

Success after 6 months? You've built strong relationships with your product teams, contributed to tangible and measurable improvement for key product components, and delivered analyses that moved decisions forward.

Success after 1 year? You're a trusted analytical partner for the product teams, armed with reusable models and frameworks that increase the leverage of the entire team. You feel confident taking the lead in analytic projects and advising product stakeholders.

This is a great time to be joining us!

Your first task will be to support the product teams in Core Marketplace Platforms, pairing up with an experienced analyst and flying solo on projects quickly. Core Marketplace Platform is itself a new constellation of teams, and you have the opportunity to make a difference quickly: your work shapes how we learn, make decisions, and grow across millions of users and four countries.

You also will be joining us at a time when augmented analytics is changing what it means to be an analyst, and you will be a part of the team that will be one of the driving forces of that change.

Last but not least: you will join a team of people who are good at what they do, are passionate about data and analytics, like to learn and share, and like to contribute to the success of others and of other teams.

A few words from Torgeir Drabløs, Head of Insights and Data Management:

"Hi, I'm Torgeir! It is my privilege to lead a team consisting of passionate and tenacious people whose expertise complements each other - and will complement and appreciate what you bring to the table. What makes us different is that we don't just answer questions: we are opinionated about what the question should be, we serve a very wide span of stakeholders from product developers to the Executive Management team, and we work end-to-end with data, from when it is captured to when it informs a real-world decision.

If you're the kind of analyst who likes to challenge what the question to be answered should be, if you don’t like giving up until you get to the bottom of it, and if you are excited about changing how analytics works, we'd love to hear from you."

GOT YOUR ATTENTION? Let us hear from you!

Make sure to apply by the 11th of October; we’re looking forward to hearing from you!
