Job description & summary
Are you passionate about data and eager to make sense of it for others? Join our team and gain hands-on experience working on real-world data projects for a variety of clients.
As a Data Analyst, you will join a supportive team of analysts, data engineers, and architects. You will work on real projects for a variety of clients — from large banks and financial institutions abroad to companies based in the Czech Republic. Your role will span the full data lifecycle: understanding business needs, shaping data models, building reports, and presenting findings that drive real decisions. You do not need to know everything from day one. We will support you in developing your technical and analytical skills and help you understand how data solutions are designed, built, and used in practice. You will:
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Design and build data models that reflect business processes and information flows.
- Define data transformation rules and help ensure data quality across datasets.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support decision-making.
- Work with large and complex datasets, including data cleaning, structuring, and integration.
- Automate repetitive data processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, and testing teams.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support the full data lifecycle from business understanding through reporting.
- Grow your career toward senior data analyst, data architect, or other specialized data roles.
What matters to us
- University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) and practical experience with data analysis through internships, work experience, or academic projects.
- Solid knowledge of SQL or Python and a good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data structures.
- Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
What will help you stand out
- Experience with data modeling concepts and modeling frameworks.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or another scripting language for data manipulation.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or BigQuery.
- Understanding of data warehousing, data quality principles, ETL/ELT processes, or data orchestration tools.
- Ability to transform analytical findings into compelling presentations and business stories.
Why you’ll enjoy working here
- Professional growth that matches your ambitions and pace. Gain in months the kind of experience that can take years to build elsewhere.
- Fair pay with no gaps. We are among the few companies in the Czech Republic certified for Equal Pay.
- A flexible benefits programme with 30,000 points to spend on what matters most to you.
- 30 days of paid time off, including three well-being days and two additional days off at the end of the year.
- An opportunity to give back to the community with one paid volunteering day every year.
- The chance to work from one of PwC’s international offices (available from the Senior Associate level).
- We support your learning and development journey: Benefit from ongoing training and certifications in consulting, business, and technology skills, including Agile and project management, data analytics (Power BI, Python, Alteryx, Tableau), cloud and Microsoft technologies (Azure, Power Platform), business process analysis, and consulting essentials, such as stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- A buddy programme, regular feedback, and access to a coach who can support your professional development and career path.
- Extensive well-being support and initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle, from Dr. Digital and Human Dynamic programmes to workplace yoga and running events.
- An ultrabook and an iPhone with unlimited data.
- Social events and Away Days.
