Join a growing data-driven sports-tech company and help shape the next phase of our research team.
About Modellama:
Modellama is a pioneering company that blends advanced statistical modeling, cutting-edge algorithms, and a deep passion for sports—especially soccer. Since 2009, we’ve been transforming data into winning insights by combining data science, expert knowledge, and real-time information processing.
About the Role:

This is a new role within a growing team, offering a unique opportunity to influence how data, models, and insights evolve at Modellama.
What You’ll Do:
- Work hands-on with large, evolving datasets to explore patterns, validate hypotheses, and uncover meaningful signals.
- Collaborate closely with a growing research team to design, refine, and scale analytical and research methodologies.
- Take part in shaping how research questions are defined, explored, and translated into actionable insights.
- Build, test, and iterate on advanced logic flows and analytical frameworks to detect key events and behaviors.
- Lead exploratory, recurring, and ad hoc analyses — from raw data investigation to clear, insight-driven conclusions.
- Continuously challenge assumptions, improve data quality, and explore new tools, techniques, and data sources through experimentation and research accuracy.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives that support strategic and research-driven decisions.
Who You Are:
You’re curious, proactive, and love turning data into action. You think in terms of value, not vanity metrics — and you’re not afraid to experiment, fail, learn, and improve. You take ownership of your work from start to finish, communicate with confidence, and enjoy collaborating with diverse minds.
