Role purpose: Turn data into actionable insights by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and reporting on key business metrics to support decision-making. Core responsibilities - Gather, validate, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting. - Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI tracking. - Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities. - Translate business questions into analytical approaches and clear recommendations. - Document data definitions, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure consistency. - Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize analytics deliverables. - Data analysis: statistical reasoning, data profiling, and structured problem solving. - Tools: advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with BI/reporting tools. - Querying: ability to extract and join data using SQL or equivalent. - Data quality: cleaning, validation, and reconciliation techniques. - Communication: present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
