- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify, investigate, and escalate potential threats.
- Support incident response activities by coordinating actions across teams and implementing timely containment and mitigation measures.
- Manage vulnerability assessment programs, remediation planning, ownership tracking, and follow-up.
- Coordinate penetration testing activities and track remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Maintain, review, and optimize SIEM, EDR, WAF, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security tools.
- Implement and continuously improve technical controls aligned with ISO 27001.
- Gather, organize, and present security and audit evidence.
- Manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors and external service providers.
- Partner with Engineering, DevOps, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Legal to integrate security best practices into operational processes.
- Document security activities, risks, decisions, remediation status, and control effectiveness.
- Track multiple security initiatives and provide proactive status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Senior cybersecurity professional with at least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, information security, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring, alert analysis, incident response, escalation, and mitigation.
- Experience managing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation, and addressing penetration testing findings.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practical experience with AWS environments.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint security, network security, and application security.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, WAF, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security solutions.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 technical controls and experience gathering and presenting audit evidence.
- Experience managing cybersecurity vendors or external security service providers.
- Strong documentation, organization, follow-up, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple security projects and initiatives.
- Professional English communication skills, written and verbal.
