Cyber Security Analyst (Remote)

Hire Feed is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for a fully remote position. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and implement controls to protect systems and data.

The role emphasizes vulnerability assessments, incident response, and collaborating with a distributed team across time zones in a remote work setup.

Monitor and analyze security events from SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS. Investigate security incidents, determine scope and root cause. Implement and maintain security controls to mitigate risks. Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation recommendations. Prepare detailed incident reports with findings and actions. Experience with SIEM tools and security event monitoring. Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls). Ability to analyze logs and network traffic for anomalies. Experience with incident response procedures and best practices. Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools.
