Customer Success / Forward Deployed Engineer - Performance Marketer

About iCustomer iCustomer is the Agentic Decision OS for Growth Marketing used by 100+ clients including American Eagle, Cisco, Untuckit and Crusoe to turn audience intelligence into decisions and orchestration with learning loops. We're a venture-backed, US-headquartered startup with a growing India team building the next category in growth marketing infrastructure helping growth teams optimize ROAS, CAC, and LTV. Customers don't just buy software from us, they buy outcomes.

The Role We're hiring a Forward Deployed CSM with hands-on ABM and performance marketing chops, based in India. This is a hybrid role: half customer success, half practitioner. You'll embed with our US customers' growth teams, run real ABM programs and paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and The Trade Desk through iCustomer, and turn our platform's audience intelligence into measurable pipeline and revenue lift. You've lived the agency life pulling reports at midnight, optimizing CPAs, defending budget to clients. Now you'll do that same work, but armed with iCustomer's FIRE scoring, AUM, and Decisioning Waterfall. You'll be the proof that our product works, the voice of the customer to our PM team, and the playbook builder for every CSM who comes after you. This is a Forward Deployed Engineer-style role for marketers: ship outcomes, not tickets.

What You'll Do Customer Success & Outcomes Own a portfolio of D2C and B2B customers — onboard them, activate them, and make them successful on iCustomer. Define success metrics with each customer (ROAS lift, CAC reduction, pipeline contribution, account engagement) and report against them weekly. Run QBRs that show real numbers — not vanity dashboards. Drive renewal, expansion, and reference-ability.

Hands-On Campaign Execution — ABM + Paid Media Design and run ABM programs end-toWhat You'll Do-end: tiered target account lists, persona mapping, multi-channel orchestration, and account-level measurement. Build and run paid campaigns across LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and The Trade Desk — audience builds, creative briefs, bid strategy, A/B tests, and optimization. Activate iCustomer audiences (FIRE-scored, intent-enriched, waterfall-dispatched) into ad platforms and DSPs to drive measurable lift vs. customer baselines. Build attribution and account-engagement loops back into HubSpot, Salesforce, or the customer's warehouse.

Forward Deployed Work Translate customer pain into product requirements — work directly with engineering and PM to ship fixes and features. Build reusable playbooks: ABM frameworks, campaign templates, audience recipes, measurement models. Every customer engagement should make the next one faster. Be the human-in-the-loop that turns iWorker outputs into real campaign decisions.

Voice of the Customer Run weekly syncs with the founder and product team on what's working, what's broken, and what's next. Co-create case studies, webinars, and Decision Circuits content with marquee customers.

Who You Are 4–7 years in performance marketing and/or ABM, ideally with agency experience running campaigns for D2C and/or B2B brands — bonus if you've worked with US or global clients. Deep, hands-on operator on LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and The Trade Desk — Campaign Manager, Ads Manager, TTD's UI, audience builds, conversion API, retargeting, lookalikes, programmatic display/CTV. ABM operator — you've built tiered account lists, run 1:1 / 1:few / 1:many programs, and measured account engagement, not just clicks. Experience with CDPs, audience platforms, or attribution tools — Segment, mParticle, Hightouch, Census, Rockerbox, Northbeam, or equivalents. You've owned budget and outcomes — not just executed someone else's plan. You know what a healthy CAC, ROAS, CPL, MQL→SQL, and account-engagement rate look like in your verticals. Comfortable with the modern growth stack: HubSpot, GA4, Looker/Tableau, 6sense/Demandbase, Triple Whale, or equivalents. Strong written and spoken English. Comfortable running a QBR with a US CMO and a working session with a US paid media analyst in the same day. Analytical and curious — you read data before you read opinions. Bias to action. You'd rather ship a campaign and learn than write a 12-page strategy memo.

Bonus Points Worked at a US based Seed to C stage startup in addition to agency time. Hands-on with Meta, 6sense, Demandbase, RollWorks, or Terminus for ABM orchestration. Comfortable with SQL or BigQuery for ad-hoc analysis. A POV on incrementality, MMM, and the post-cookie measurement world. Ran campaigns across TikTok, Reddit, or Google Ads in addition to LinkedIn / Meta / TTD.

Logistics Location: Remote, India-based — Delhi NCR or Bangalore preferred (Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai considered for the right candidate). Hours: Meaningful overlap with US Eastern Time (expect ~4–5 hours daily overlap, including customer-facing calls). Type: FTE Compensation: Competitive comp + performance bonus tied to customer outcomes + tools/ equipment] Reports to: Jose Chan, COO
