About GOZA
GOZA is an early-stage Sydney mobility company building from the ground up, with a clear business direction and an experienced automotive Founder. We believe Australia's vehicle subscription market has significant room to grow. Our flexible subscription offering is designed to give GOZA a distinctive position in that growing market.
Alongside flexible subscription, GOZA will work in strategic partnership with a leading rideshare platform to develop a drive-to-own business for rideshare drivers. These two business directions, together with our Founder's deep automotive industry background, underpin our confidence in GOZA's long-term growth potential.
We are building our business processes and team around AI from the outset. For someone who enjoys a challenge and wants to help shape a growing business, this is an opportunity to make a visible contribution, expand your responsibilities and share in the value we aim to create.
The opportunity
You will work with the Founder and technology partners to build and improve GOZA's CRM processes around real business needs. Your initial focus will be enquiry capture, customer records, application status and follow-up reminders, extending into contracts, ongoing support, renewals and end-of-term journeys as the business develops. This role suits someone with practical foundations who is keen to learn and grow with the company.
AI is an important tool in how this role delivers. You will use AI and existing CRM features to turn repetitive tasks into useful workflows, then test and improve them. You will handle day-to-day configuration, business requirements and checks, working with developers or suppliers on complex integrations and technical issues. The aim is to develop a CRM system tailored to GOZA, with clear customer records, timely follow-up and visible, manageable exceptions.
What you will own
Work with the Founder to map flexible subscription and drive-to-own customer workflows, identifying the information, stages, responsibilities and next actions needed at launch.
Connect website and partner enquiries to the CRM, with accurate source information, consent records, lead routing, follow-up reminders and visibility of conversion or drop-off.
Progressively improve application and onboarding workflows, tracking document collection, updates, approvals, e-signature and handover readiness; work with technology partners where system connections are needed.
As the business develops, maintain accurate links between customer, contract, vehicle and payment-status records, progressively adding service, support and renewal reminders.
Use Codex or comparable AI tools to improve everyday workflows, handle repetitive tasks, investigate issues and prepare test cases, checking outputs before use.
Configure basic reminders and automation, working with technology partners to connect CRM, communication channels and relevant services; check data transfers and record and escalate exceptions promptly.
Document business requirements, carry out user acceptance testing, maintain practical instructions and help the team use the system; check changes with developers or suppliers against the intended result.
Build practical dashboards for response times, application progress, conversion, customer retention and automation reliability; improve workflows using the evidence.
Protect customer data through appropriate access and approved tools, with human review for sensitive decisions and clear manual fallbacks when automation fails.
What success looks like in the first 90 days
Agree the initial CRM workflows and priorities with the Founder, with customer fields, stages, owners and a practical test checklist in place.
Website and partner enquiries flow into a working CRM process with an owner, next action and visible application status.
Implement and test one or two basic automations, such as lead assignment or follow-up reminders; progress complex connections with technology partner support, retaining exception alerts and manual handling.
A practical dashboard shows customer progress and follow-up performance; core workflows are documented and usable by the team.
What you bring
Around one to three years of experience in CRM, customer operations, sales support or a related role. This is a guide: practical ability, attention to detail, initiative in learning and the desire to grow with the company matter more than years alone.
Hands-on use of at least one CRM system, with the ability to maintain customer records, update stages and configure basic fields, follow-up tasks or simple reports. No particular platform or administrator certification is required.
Ability to map a simple customer process and set up or adjust basic follow-up reminders; check records for completeness, duplicates and correct status, test changes before use, and document issues and seek support when needed.
Experience using Codex or a comparable AI tool for a practical task or small project. You can explain your contribution, how you checked the AI output and how you corrected issues. Small examples are welcome; hands-on work and verification matter.
Ability to turn a business problem into clear steps and expected results, communicate with the Founder, developers and business users, and keep learning CRM and automation tools.
Clear written and spoken English, sound commercial judgement and the initiative to make progress in an early-stage business.
Current Australian working rights and the ability to work on site in Sydney as required.
Helpful but not essential
Experience in vehicle subscription, rental, rideshare, mobility or another service with a multi-step customer lifecycle.
Exposure to built-in CRM automation or any tool such as n8n, Make or Zapier. Familiarity with APIs, webhooks or matching data fields is also helpful; independent development of complex integrations is not required on entry.
Experience working with a China-based or offshore technology team; Mandarin is helpful but not required.
What GOZA offers
Competitive remuneration plus superannuation, with the package reflecting your capability and contribution.
An early-stage equity opportunity, subject to the final plan, approvals and individual offer terms, providing potential to share in the value you help create.
Direct access to the Founder and meaningful ownership of GOZA's CRM processes and systems from the outset.
The opportunity to apply modern AI tools to real business operations and grow your skills, responsibilities and career as GOZA develops.
How to apply
Apply through SEEK with your CV and a short introduction. You do not need to submit a case study or complete an additional project when applying.
At interview, please share an example of CRM or customer workflow work you have previously contributed to. Explain the problem, what you personally did and the outcome. If you used AI, you are welcome to explain how you used it and checked the results. Any relevant previous example is welcome; it does not need to relate to GOZA or the automotive industry. You are not expected to build a GOZA CRM system or complete a bespoke project for the interview. You may talk through your example, use redacted screenshots or give a demonstration; no access to a previous employer's systems, customer data or other confidential information is required.
