Note
Candidates must have 2+ years of practicing attorney experience, including 1+ years in creditors' rights, commercial loan workouts, restructuring, or bankruptcy. An active bar license in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, DC, or Pennsylvania and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials are required. Excellent writing, communication, and client service skills are essential.

Job Description
- Represent banks, lenders, and creditors in commercial loan workouts, restructurings, and distressed financial matters.
- Develop effective creditor enforcement strategies involving collections, foreclosures, receiverships, and replevin.
- Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including relief from stay motions and claims disputes.
- Draft and negotiate forbearance agreements, loan modifications, settlement agreements, and restructuring documents.
- Represent clients in creditors' rights litigation in state and federal courts.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys to develop creative, cost-effective solutions for complex financial disputes.
- Work directly with clients to protect their interests and achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active bar admission in MD, VA, DE, DC, or PA.
- 2+ years of practicing attorney experience.
- 1+ years of creditors' rights, commercial workouts, restructuring, or bankruptcy experience.
- Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills.
- Law firm experience preferred; qualified in-house and solo practitioners welcome.
