Your mission
As Corporate Counsel, you will support corporate legal matters across our international group. Based in Dubai, you will advise on DIFC/UAE law, People and employment matters, corporate governance, commercial agreements and cross-border legal matters.
You will work closely with People, Finance, Operations and other business functions to turn legal requirements into practical advice, policies and business solutions.
What you’ll do
- Advise on DIFC and relevant UAE corporate and employment law, including requirements affecting our Dubai operations, DIFC entities, international group structure and global workforce.
- Monitor relevant legal developments and coordinate specialist local counsel across jurisdictions where required.
- Advise People/HR throughout the employment lifecycle, including hiring, employment and contractor models, compensation, performance matters, investigations and terminations.
- Advise on cross-border employment and workforce matters, ensure employment agreements, People policies and HR practices reflect applicable legal requirements, and support sensitive employee relations matters and disputes.
- Advise on corporate governance and entity management across the group’s jurisdictions, and support Board and shareholder matters, corporate resolutions, statutory requirements and corporate records.
- Advise on group structuring, intercompany arrangements, reorganisations and international expansion, and support corporate transactions, investments and M&A where required.
- Draft, review and negotiate vendor, customer, partner and other commercial agreements.
- Advise on contractual risk, liability, indemnities, confidentiality, intellectual property, data protection and termination.
- Develop templates and contracting standards, and work with Procurement and business teams to improve contracting and approval processes.
- Draft and review corporate policies, translate legal requirements into practical policies, processes and guidance, identify and assess material legal risks for appropriate escalation, and provide legal guidance and training to business teams.
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
- You have strong practical knowledge of DIFC law and regulations, particularly corporate and employment law.
- You understand the wider UAE legal environment relevant to corporate operations.
- You have experience advising People/HR on employment matters.
- You have strong corporate and commercial legal experience, including contract drafting and negotiation.
- You have experience advising businesses operating through multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
- You have experience with international workforce and cross-border legal matters.
- You have working knowledge of data protection and privacy law, particularly DIFC requirements.
- You hold a university degree in Law (LLB, JD or equivalent).
- You hold a professional legal qualification / admission to practise law in at least one recognised jurisdiction.

- Experience in Defi / Web3 company working as counsel.
