Content Creator (Mid-level)

Role: Content Creator

Location: Av. Paseo de La Reforma, Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Based in Mexico City as part of OLIVER's LATAM in-house studio, you'll concept, shoot, edit, and produce social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms for a portfolio of leading household brands. Working closely with community managers and fellow content creators, your ability to produce authentic, culturally fluent content at pace will keep these brands relevant, useful, and genuinely engaging to Mexican audiences.

THE ROLE

This isn't about adapting campaigns for social. It's about content that feels native to each platform, content that resonates because it reflects how Mexicans actually live, clean, protect, and care for their homes and families.

You'll work at the intersection of brand utility and social culture, creating content that sits naturally alongside the creators, conversations, and trends your audience already follows. The most effective content for this portfolio doesn't feel like advertising it feels helpful, relevant, and worth sharing.

We're looking for someone culturally plugged in to Mexico's social landscape, creatively resourceful, and comfortable not only producing content end to end, but also being the face of the brand. Someone who can spot the opportunity, concept it quickly, produce it with care, and deliver it while it's still relevant.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Concept, shoot, edit, and produce social-first content for a leading household brand portfolio in Mexico across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging formats — working across smartphone, DSLR, and lo-fi production setups to prioritise authenticity and cultural relevance over polish
• Develop and present content ideas via storyboards and creative references that translate brand purpose and product messaging into platform-native moments Mexican audiences relate to and want to share
• Stay current with social trends, viral formats, platform features, and creator culture in the Mexican market translating relevant opportunities into reactive, real-time content that connects the brand to cultural moments while remaining true to each brand's voice and values
• Edit and adapt content across formats and platforms, reimagining a single shoot or asset in multiple ways to maximise reach and relevance using Premiere Pro, CapCut, and native platform tools
• Collaborate with community managers to align content with publishing calendars, campaign timelines, and community engagement priorities
• Support shoots involving content creators, influencers, and real people, ensuring the production process is inclusive and representative of the diversity of Mexican families and communities
• Experiment with new formats, techniques, and creative approaches sharing what works, and what doesn't, with the wider team
• Use Gen AI tools to support content creation, from ideation and visual references to editing and copy exploration
• Ensure all content meets platform specifications, brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

• A portfolio of social content work with strong examples of platform-native content that generated genuine audience engagement — shares, saves, comments, conversation
• Technical confidence across the full content creation process: concepting, shooting, and editing across smartphone and DSLR setups, with solid skills in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent
• Fluency in Mexican social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels including a clear understanding of what performs, why, and how Mexican audiences discover and share content
• A genuine feel for Mexican cultural relevance, with the ability to spot trending moments and conversations in the local market and turn them quickly into content ideas
• Experience creating content for consumer brands, with an ability to communicate brand or product messages in a way that feels genuine and relatable not forced or overly commercial
• A collaborative, proactive attitude comfortable pitching in across different content types and production needs, and able to deliver quality work on tight turnarounds
• An interest in inclusive content creation, including authentic representation of the diversity of Mexican families and communities in casting, imagery, and storytelling
• Professional proficiency in English is required for brand and team communication

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking

• Basic proficiency with Gen AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or DALL-E) to support ideation, mood boarding, visual exploration, and content iteration
• An agentic approach to your work: able to self-organise, break down creative tasks, find efficient solutions, and deliver independently
• Willingness to experiment with AI tools as part of the creative process, with a clear sense of when they add value and when human creativity and judgement are needed

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience on household, FMCG, personal care, or consumer goods brands, or working in or for the Mexican or wider Latin American market
• Background in an in-house agency, embedded studio, or social-specialist content team
• Motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects or similar)
• Photography skills and experience with still content for social
• Familiarity with social analytics and how performance data informs creative decisions
• Experience with accessibility in content creation — captions, alt text, inclusive design
• Experience working with or alongside Mexican content creators and influencers

If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
