Job Description

• Serve as the primary client contact from project kickoff through closeout — assess scope, align expectations, and keep relationships strong throughout the life of the project
• Prepare complete, accurate estimates through detailed review of proposal specs, drawings, takeoff information, and contract documents
• Provide overall direction of the total construction effort — budget, schedule, quality, and safety — coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, engineering, and day-to-day site administration
• Supervise superintendents and subcontractors; provide technical guidance on construction methods, equipment selection, and drawing interpretation
• Initiate, track, and manage change orders and extra work estimating with precision and timeliness
• Prepare monthly project status reports and cost-to-complete forecasts; own the financial performance of your projects
• Issue owner and subcontract agreements, manage RFIs and shop drawings, and maintain organized, audit-ready project files
• Lead preconstruction teams when assigned, providing direction and mentorship to junior team members
• Coordinate closely with site superintendents to align field activities with the overall project plan

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on experience
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, estimating, scheduling, and safety

• Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
• Valid driver's license in good standing required
