Administrative role supporting a construction company's projects/estimating team: managing contracts, bids, submittals and change orders in ProCore, entering bid data, coordinating subcontractor estimates, permits and insurance, and handling calls. Requires Excel/CRM proficiency, typing 40+ WPM, and 3+ years of admin experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Our client is seeking a Construction Project Administrator to join their team.
Compensation and Benefits for our Project Administrator:
We offer a robust compensation and benefits package for this role, with a yearly starting salary of $65,00,000-$75,000 per year with opportunity for growth. We also offer health benefits after 90 days, and a 401k with a 4% employer match, paid time off, and vacation time.
Requirements for the Construction Project Administrator:
• 3+ years of experience working in an administrative or project support role in a related industry such as landscaping, construction, plumbing, electric etc..
• A High School Diploma/GED is required, associates or higher is preferred
• Proficiency with a variety of computer software, including CRMs, databases, presentation software and Excel;
• Excellent attention to detail with large and small amounts of data;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong operational knowledge of procedures and processes including basic accounting processes;
• Typing of 40+ words per minute;
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
Job Duties for the Construction Project Administrator:
• Project administration of multiple projects simultaneously including monitoring and upkeeping contracts, submittals, change orders and updating information in our software ProCore;
• Establishing and maintaining lists for projects and determining the correct priority of bids;
• Maintaining bid records and project schedules;
• Data entry of bid information and running reports;
• Submitting project proposals including procuring estimates from subcontractors and coordinating RFI/RFQ information;
• Managing Estimating emails and phone calls;
• Applying for permits and gathering information from subcontractors as well as monitoring subcontractor job-specific insurance;
• Providing phone support;
• Other duties as assigned.
