The position is responsible for conducting inspections, investigating complaints, documenting violations, preparing enforcement cases, and coordinating compliance efforts to help protect the public health, safety, welfare, and appearance of the community.

This position requires significant fieldwork, independent judgment, customer service, conflict resolution, and coordination with Town departments, contractors, residents, businesses, public agencies, and legal representatives.
